It is a well known fact that Telugu film comedy is almost synonymous with Nata Kireeti Rajendra Prasad. Even the Ex-Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao said that he loved to watch Rajendra Prasad’s comedy flicks during his free time.

Undoubtedly, he is one of those rare actors who made the best impact in the toughest Comedy genre. But, Rajendra Prasad did some amazing roles which would make anyone tearful with his emotional side. Being a gold medalist in mime acting, Rajendra Prasad proved once again that he is capable of any role whatsoever! On the eve of his 59th birthday, iQlikmovies remembers some of his roles which unleashed this side of him!

Vidyarthi from Challenge: Though the role of Rajendra Prasad is limited in this film, his portrayal as a frustrated degree holder who doesn’t get job is commendable. The line which speaks about historic personalities like Socrates could be delivered by Rajendra Prasad alone. This film also marks the brilliant chemistry between Chiranjeevi and Rajendra Prasad which continued for years.

Ramudu from Erra Mandaram: The usually energetic and fun loving Rajendra Prasad is seen in a suppressed role in this film. His role has various shades ranging from innocence, anger and aggression to fight the caste system and struggles. Rightfully, he got the Nandi award for the best performance in a leading role for that year.

Rambantu from Rambantu: Rajendra Prasad is seen in a reserved role by imitating the antics of Lord Hanuman in terms of body language as well as the devotion towards his master. The film might have flopped but his performance and penchant for experimentation can always be remembered,

Raghuram from Aa Naluguru: This film marked a new milestone for Rajendra Prasad’s career as he effortlessly fit in the shoes of an idealistic family man who believes in humanity more than money. Every expression, diction and frame speaks wonders in this film!

iQlikmovies wishes Rajendra Prasad a very happy birthday and look forward to more such experimentations in his film career!
