Malayalam superstar Mammootty landed up in a fresh controversy as he gets notices from the Kerala Women’s Commission.

Going into the details, Mammootty’s latest release Kasaba movie allegedly has objectionable dialogues and demeaning portrayal of women in some scenes. The commission hence issued notices to Mammootty, director Nithin Renji Panicker & producer Alice George seeking an appropriate explanation.

Women’s commission chairperson K Rosakutty Teacher opined that a star hero like Mammooty should abstain from acting in such objectionable scenes that can potentially disseminate wrong message to the society. She added that their panel shall even write letters to Film Certification Board, AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes) & MACTA (Malayalam Cine Technicians Association) to ensure that films scenes and dialogues showcasing women in a bad light are avoided while certification only.

On top of the mixed talk, these notices have turned out a new headache for the film makers!
