You are well aware of the nexus between the film world and the cricketing world. Noted personalities from both industries hobnob a lot with each other. But can you ever imagine the tinsel town folks getting into cricket stadium and playing the tournament very seriously like professionals.
The credit for that goes to Vishnu Induri who came up with the concept of ‘Celebrity Cricket League’ (CCL). This became a huge success and now Vishnu is mixing the game with a movie. A new movie titled as 1983 is about to commence and Kabir Khan of Bajrangi Bhaijaan fame is going to direct.
Sources reveal it is Vishnu who managed to rope in Kabir Khan and the former happens to be one of the producers. The other producer is Madhu Mantena who is also a close relative of the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. Keep watching this space for further details about this project.
