Akhil's second film Shelved?

The young Akkineni hero Akhil faced terrible failure with his anticipated debut flick Akhil directed by VV Vinayak. The film’s promising promotions, Akhil’s style and Sayesha’s glamor also couldn’t save the film from the clutches of disaster. After this shocking setback, Akhil decided to take a break and carefully plan for the second film to score a hit this time.

There were many names such as Vamsi Paidipally and Sukumar were considered to direct this second film. Nagarjuna apparently zeroed in on Sukumar but due to creative differences, the director had to step out of this project. Then, Nag felt that Hanu Raghavapudi of Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha fame would be the ideal filmmaker for Akhil’s deciding second film.

But the director already gave a commitment to KVPG’s producers 14 Reels Entertainment to do another film with them but Akhil is determined to do the second film with another prestigious banner. Because of this clash, the sources say this film has been permanently shelved!
