There was a time when you would have got excited the moment you hear that a boy or girl is making his or her debut from a star family. But in Tollywood, this trend has become so high that every second actor hails from a noted cine family. The question is, will such legacies help.
This debate has been on since a while so here is a look. As such, hailing from a good star family gives you a rather easy entry but from thereon, you are on your own. Unless you prove your mettle as a performer and earn the reception from the audience, you will not shine.
In fact, having a family legacy adds more to the pressure and expectations from the people and it usually puts you through comparison scales too. That way, family legacies sure give you an initial identity but to get the real identity, you got to slog it out and earn it.
