Rajinikanth Starts His Onslaught

Just few days ago there was an almost confirmed discussion that it would take a long time before the records of the magnum opus Baahubali and the Bollywood flick Dangal would be broken. However, it appears that these records may not last long.

The reason for that is one man, he is Style Samrat Rajinikanth and his new movie 2.0. Being helmed by the showman of the south, Shankar, the film is touted as India’s most expensive as it is being made at a mammoth budget of Rs 350 Crores.

And already Rajini has begun his onslaught. Reports from Mumbai reveal the Hindi theatrical rights have been taken for a mind boggling 80 crores. On the other hand, the satellite has been sold for an eye popping 110 crores. This is a brilliant start for its business.

The film would be releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi across the globe with record number of screens. Given these parameters and the craze for Rajini, the chances are very high that the records set by Dangal and Baahubali may be beaten by 2.0.
