KCR's Decision On Telugu Film Titles

Ever since the TRS kingpin K Chandrasekhar Rao brought Telangana from the unified Andhra Pradesh and became the Chief Minister, he has been doing many things to create that difference and make his presence felt. The good side is, his focus on bringing back the essence of Telugu is commendable.

A Government Order has come wherein Telugu has become compulsory in schools and colleges. Similarly, another GO has been released wherein across all hoardings, commercial establishments and shops, Telugu script titles should be there. This is indeed a good move from the Chief Minister.

Taking cue from this, some are saying he should do something about the Telugu film titles as well. This is something just like in Kollywood wherein movies with Tamil titles get a tax exemption. If KCR can take a decision to have special tax benefits for titles in Telugu and for non Telugu titles some extra tax it would be a great move. Let us hope the CM gets to read this suggestion.
