Based on sports, the movie Veedevadu has been made. Touted to be a thriller movie, Veedevadu hits the screens today. Read on for the full review.

Story Plot:
Veedevadu revolves around the story of Satya (Sachin Joshi) who is a national Kabaddi player. Satya and Shruti fall in love for each other. Shruthi's father is a very famous person who has a good will in the society. Shruthi gets hitched to Satya. On their first night, Satya murders Shruthi.  In this frame of context, Satya gets jailed. The whole interrogation process leads to twists in the story.

Roles and Performances:
Sachin Joshi seems to have worked hard for this movie. His performance as a national Kabaddi player has been complemented with his chiseled body. Eesha Gupta has done her part well. All the others performed well in their respective roles.

Analysis:
Tatineni Sathya the director of the movie Veedevadu has made this movie with Kabaddi as a backdrop. The same strategy which worked for his movie Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu is applied here.
The thriller movie lacks much entertainment, but the screenplay is managed well. Though the story has the same old essence, the director seems to have managed to show it in an engaging manner.

Technical Aspects:
The narration goes flat at times. But the screenplay is fine with gripping aspects. The production values are fair enough. Music by SS Thaman is good. Even the BGM is in sync with the story flow. Cinematography could have been better though.

Final Verdict: A time pass thriller which can be watched in leisure time.
