The nexus between Tollywood and politics has been deep and strong since long but with passing time, the equations are changing. Earlier, almost the entire industry was favoring TDP but today the presence of separate parties has created few cracks. Currently, the industry seems to be split between four parties.
While TDP is there, few film celebrities such as Roja have strong support towards YSRCP. In the recent past, even TRS has begun garnering good following. The recent statements from actor Posani Krishnamurali were pro TRS. Similarly, producer Satya Reddy spoke on behalf of TDP. He had a press meet in support of Chandrababu and Lokesh.
Already the Nandi award committee is TDP favorites. The grandeur director Gunasekhar is against TDP obviously but of course he is not pro TRS either. Last but not the least, power star Pawan Kalyan is arriving with his party Jana Sena so it is not sure who will go behind this entity. All in all, this kind of party favoring doesn’t look healthy for the industry.
