Kammula's Comfort With Telangana

As you keep inching forward with your films you tend to develop a pattern which is shown in every movie you make as a filmmaker. You can term it as a signature style but it also has to do with the comfort level of the director. The soft spoken filmmaker Sekhar Kammula seems to have that trait.

It appears he is very comfortable with Telangana accent and nativity. And whenever he creates a character with that backdrop the impact and output is superb. In his debut flick Happy Days the vibrant hero Nikhil’s characterization was the most powerful and impact creating with Telangana slang and it came as something new for everyone.

Now he has once again shown his mettle while designing the character of the natural cutie Sai Pallavi for the movie Fidaa. In all this, his comfort level with Telangana flavor is vividly surfacing. However, it will be better if Kammula can do some mix and match with his movies to keep the versatility quotient on.
