With each passing day, the idea of perceiving power star Pawan Kalyan as a film star would be getting diminished because he is inching towards a full-time political career. His party Jana Sena is currently in the emerging stages and Pawan will be in full momentum by the time the 2019 elections take place in Telugu states.
Meanwhile, some of the cine folks are already expressing their opinions regarding Pawan as a politician. In one TV show, the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma was sharing his thoughts when he said: “I want to see Pawan Kalyan as Chief Minister”. When the anchor asked why, the reply was “His face is good, he is handsome, apart from that I don’t care his other credentials.”
Not stopping at that RGV added, “Maybe guys like Mahesh Kathi might look at developmental vision, ruling capabilities etc but I don’t look at all that.” Those who could read between the lines said indirectly it was a satire from RGV on Pawan Kalyan but he made it sound as if it was a wishful thinking. While some may find this offensive, at this point in time, there are many apprehensions on how Pawan would fare as a leader and founder of a political party. This is going to be a strong litmus test for him for sure.
