Ever since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh took place, there has been a strong speculation about the Telugu film industry moving towards the residuary state of AP. While nothing concrete has happened on that front it now appears the speculation is gaining strong wings due to the ongoing proceedings in the circuit.

The last few weeks have seen a lot of mess due to the Sri Reddy – Ram Gopal Varma- Pawan Kalyan issue. It is heard that many cine folks find this environment unhealthy. Most importantly, the Telangana government is not involving in any way in trying to control the electronic media which is the main cause of this issue to become so big.

Since that kind of support is not coming, the biggies are slowly thinking of shifting to Andhra Pradesh, as per sources. As such, Telugu industry’s shift from Madras to Hyderabad happened and now the chances of Hyderabad to Amaravathi are brewing. If signals from AP government come that land rates are cheap and infrastructure boost will be offered, the biggies will take a call. If they decide, all will follow.
