We have reached the weekend and it is time to have a look at how the Telugu Film Industry has fared in terms of its revenue and income. The box office reports reveal the entire week has once again gone to the old releases which came during Summer time and they are still doing good at the ticket counters.

For starters, ‘Rangasthalam’ has successfully completed the 50 days mark which is a rare achievement these days. The film is still getting steady collections. The second movie is ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ featuring superstar Mahesh Babu. The film has now entered the 100 crores club and has been getting decent theatre occupancy still.

The other contender was ‘Kaasi’ featuring Vijay Antony and this was a dubbed flick which came from Tamil. The film ended up becoming a huge disaster as it failed to appeal to any genre of audience. With this, the market of Vijay has fallen drastically. Overall, the box office belonged to the old horses which are still running strong.
