Ranbir Kapoor playing Sanjay Dutt, the movie Sanju has hit the screens today. With a huge positivity around, the movie has got the best of the worlds. Rajkumar Hirani as the director, the movie is now in a controversial issue.
A legal complaint was filed against the movie Sanju, alleged that Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Rajkumar Hirani used derogatory language against the sex workers. The National Commission for Women received a complaint against Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor who is portraying the role of Sanjay Dutt in Sanju.
The complaint was given for allegedly using derogatory language against the sex workers in the movie. The advocate and social activist Gaurav Gulati was referred to two dialogues from the movie which 'demean' the status of the sex workers. In one of the promotional videos, there is a dialogue which refers to the sex workers.
Anushka Sharma who has played a journalist question, Sanjay Dutt, how many girlfriends he has. Sanjay (Played by Ranbir) answers that he has 308 girlfriends excluding the prostitutes. This has raised the controversy.
