Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s wellness series has reached exponential heights. After capturing the attention of fitness enthusiasts on home turf, the YouTube channel will now be part of an app by DU, one of Middle East’s largest cell phone service providers.
Shilpa is a popular name in the Gulf thanks to her fitness programmes and brand endorsements, making this an immensely lucrative deal. The app is currently using the material available on Shilpa’s YouTube channel, but the wellness guru is hoping to also customize content for the Middle East in the near future.
Says Shilpa, “News of the partnership came to me as a surprise. The app [by DU] is doing well, so, we thought it would be a good idea to collaborate with them and reach out to a larger audience. We are happy to share our content, which includes [cues on] yoga and strength training, and recipes of healthy foods. They saw our content and realised that it caters to their clients.
