Mother Nature has once again proved that when it keeps getting pushed it will react in such a manner that mankind will take a long time to recover. The Southern part of India is currently going through a phase of heavy floods and the worst hit has been the state of Kerala. The calamity has struck fiercely and official casualties have touched 120.
This has stirred the hearts of many but the gesture from the makers of the hit movie ‘Geetha Govindam’ is now garnering attention. According to the latest news, the makers have announced that whatever collections the film makes from now on will be donated to the flood relief of Kerala and especially to the victims.
Incidentally the film also released in Kerala and due to the flooding happening, the theatres have remained closed. The Telugu Film Industry responding to situations in the Telugu states has been witnessed before but taking initiative to support another state in trouble is something commendable. Keep up the good work folks!
