The clock is ticking for the long awaited and most talked about movie of the decade to hit the screens. We are talking about the film ‘2.0’ featuring Style Samrat and there has been a huge delay when it comes to the making. Now that the release date has been locked, the promotions have started but here comes the twist.
It is heard that there seems to be trouble brewing when it comes to the release of the Telugu version. Apparently, Asian Films owned by Sunil Narang had struck a deal with Lyca Productions for a whopping 90 crores but this happened an year ago expecting a release around that time. Since that didn’t happen it is heard that Asian Films has backed out of the deal.
With this, the big question is, who is going to produce the Telugu version? While some analysts are saying Lyca Productions will do a straight release, others are saying they might partner up with someone here. Given the exorbitant pricing of this movie, it is hard to expect anyone here to buy the film outright so this is going to be an issue which needs to be addressed soon.
