The way female celebrities are coming out of the closet in support of the #MeToo campaign makes you feel as if they are like ants coming out when the rains are no longer there. While forgotten artistes making allegations can be understood, when someone who is in demand and popular says something it gets serious.

Singer cum dubbing artiste Chinmayi Sreepada has shook the pillars of the Tamil industry by stating that she has been sexually harassed by the legendary lyricist cum writer Kavi Perarasu Vairamuthu. As expected, this allegation was split into two sides with one supporting and the other condemning it.

But now, things got into a twist when Chinmay’s mother Padmasini entered the scene. Sharing her thoughts with the media, she backed the statement of her daughter and reportedly recalled an incident which took place way back in 2004 in Switzerland. This has endorsed the allegation and it has to be seen what Vairamuthu has to say to it.
