Over a period of time we have a list of celebrated filmmakers whose projects always make us anticipate something good and enjoyable. However, there comes a time when these filmmakers start losing their juice and magic. The eccentric Ram Gopal Varma stands first in that list and it has been ages since he showed his magic.

Sometime ago, the same opinion was getting formed on the maverick Mani Ratnam and just when public was about to conclude, he bounced back with ‘Nawab’ and showed he has not lost his sheen. Now that Mani Ratnam still holds the promise, all eyes are now on another filmmaker who created a maverick impact.

He is none other than Gautham Menon. His movies like ‘Gharshana’ ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ and others sent a strong statement that Gautham is a slick filmmaker with beautiful visualization. However, his last set of movies has been flops and some of his movies are yet to see the light. Now, Gautham is arriving with another romantic entertainer and it remains to be seen whether he will pass this litmus test or not.
