When it comes to making high budget films and meeting the timelines perfectly, Shankar and Rajamouli are a class apart and way ahead of the others across the country. However, handing emotions plays an important role and in this many feels, Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli is miles ahead of Shankar.
Shankar in all his films right from Gentleman, Bharateeyudu, Oke Okkadu, Aparichitudu sent a powerful message to the society. Even in 2.0, the sequel to his blockbuster film Robot, he tried to send a strong message about the usage of mobile phones and the after effects associated with it. However, despite all his strong points, he is most of his films paid more attention to elevating heroism, use extravagant graphics and in the process ignored the emotional content which plays the important role in the success of the films.
This is unlike Rajamouli, who despite using high-end graphics in Baahubali, elevated the emotions taking it to the next level creating maximum impact. Even in his earlier films be it Magadheera, Eega, Simhadri, Student No 1, Chatrapathi, Vikramarkudu and Maryada Ramanna, he showed beautiful emotions stealing the hearts of all. Many feel none can beat Rajamouli when it comes to elevating human emotions to a new level on the screen.
