It is known that Gunasekhar has penned a script for Rana and it is going to be a film, based on mythology. Titled Hiranya, the film is going to be all about the oppressive demon Hiranyakashipu. The film is going to be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages. It is being produced by Rana’s father Suresh Babu Daggubati under Suresh Productions banner.
The latest news is that the film will go on floors early next year. From last three to four months, the direction, as well as the production department, is prepping up for the shoot and currently the pre-production work is going on at a brisk mode. “In five different offices and places, people are working on this project and that too on a huge scale. Rana is also closely working on the visual effects part of the film and he is pretty excited about this film. We are trying to make it one of the best films from T’town and I hope we will make up to it,” said Suresh Babu.
The entire film is going to be shot in Hyderabad and the erection of the sets will begin after Sankranti. Art Directors Ramakrishna Sabbani and wife Monica are working on the making of the sets. Details about the rest of the cast and crew will be revealed as the shoot starts progressing.
