Natasimha Balakrishna’s prestigious biopic on his dad, legendary actor and former CM of Andhra Pradesh NTR is attracting the attention of all. The makers who earlier planned to release the film in two parts as NTR-Kathanayakudu and NTR-Mahanayakudu are rethinking on their plans and sources say the biopic may be released only in one part.
The star-studded cast of Balakrishna, Vidya Balan, Nitya Menon, Rakul Preet Singh, Rana and others is increasing the expectations on the biopic which is releasing on Jan 9th as a Sankranti treat in 2019. In the meantime, the makers are delighting movie lovers by releasing the first look, songs and teasers. Keeravani, his dad Shiva Shakti Datta and his uncle Venkataramana penned a song in Mahanayakudu and they included complete Nirvana Shakatam which is all about detachment from life.
The lyrics Talli Edi? Tandri Edi? Addutagile Bandhamedi? Nee Illu Nee Vallu Needantu Ye China Suntaina Leni...Rushivo. is giving an impression that they are praising a spiritual icon like Ramana Maharshi or Vivekananda but not NTR. NTR never did so many sacrifices like the spiritual greats leaving his family and house. The lyrics are not in sync with NTR’s life and the praises showered in it.
While the first song released from Kathanayakudu hailing NTR’s heroics got huge response and praises from the movie lovers, the second song from Mahanayakudu is getting criticised for the disconnection in the lyrics with NTR’s life. Even the views on youtube show a vast difference between the two songs.
