Flop Star Believing in Remakes

King Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya has been desperately trying to create a niche for himself. He tried his luck doing different genre films and show his prowess as a versatile actor. However his attempts failed miserably and now got branded as a flop star.

He disappointed not only his Akkineni fans but also the general public who expected a lot from his family entertainers. His films Shailaja Reddy Alludu, Savyasachi and Yuddham Sharanam bombed at the box office. Now inside talk is he is gunning for a remake to be on a safe side. Sources say he has given green signal to star in the remake of Bollywood romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi. The film featured Ayshmann Khurana, Raj Kumar Rao and Kriti Sanon. The film which released in 2017 got good reviews and performed decently at the box office and also went on to win many awards at film functions.

Bareilly Ki Barfi, revolves around a young girl who leaves her house to escape from a marriage arranged by her parents. She finds a book ‘ Bareilly Ki Barfi’ on a platform and decides to meet the author. Kona Venkat is planning to remake this project. Sources say Chaitu will reprise Ayushman Khurana’s role. An official announcement is expected soon. Chaitu is romancing his wife Samantha in youthful romantic entertainer Majili which is progressing at a brisk pace in Shiva Nirvana’s direction.
