Super Star Rajinikanth enjoys a huge fan following among all sections of movie lovers. His fans always love him to be ever youthful, energetic, romantic thrilling all romancing stunning beauties and taking on baddies in his own inimitable style.

However many feel Rajini is disappointing all by doing roles that are suited to his age. Rajini was seen in the roles of old and aged mafia dons in Kaala, Kabali etc and many feels, this is bringing down his sheen at the box office. Many feel his role in Petta is a little better compared to other films. Even the role in Petta has old looks and sources say this will be detrimental for the film success. But others say Rajini too is treading Big B Amitabh Bachchan who is enjoying acting on screen doing roles suited for his age. Amitabh too did films like Sarkar etc and Rajini many feels is transforming himself like Amitabh.

Now all eyes are on his Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Pizza fame. The film features Rajini romancing Simran and Trisha and is slated for a grand release on Jan 10th offering powerful Pongal treat.
