It is known that Kalyan Dhev is gearing up for his second film which will be directed by debutant Puli Vasu, while Rizwan Entertainment banner will be bankrolling it. The announcement was made official and the project will begin soon.
His first film was Vijetha and though it couldn’t garner many collections at the box office, it won critical acclaim. Meanwhile, the latest reports reveal that Bollywood actor Rhea Chakraborty has been in talks to play the role of the leading lady of the film. This yet-to-be-titled project might go on floors in a couple of months as Kalyan is busy enjoying fatherhood with his newborn baby girl. Rhea made her Telugu debut in 2011 in Sumanth Aswin’s Thuneega Thuneega. Rhea played a bubbly role in the film Jalebi, which is her recent release and she won applause for her performance in the Hindi romantic drama.
Apparently, Puli Vasu was impressed with Rhea’s performance in Jalebi and has narrated the script of Kalyan’s film to her. Final word from Rhea about the project is yet to be given.
