Low Expectations Helped Yatra Movie

February 09, 2019 - 11:30 AM IST Yatra

We already witnessed about NTR Kathanayakudu, which was released with huge expectations and bitten the mud even after positive reviews. What went wrong? Here is the answer. As expectations were in the sky, even a small disappointment turned into a very costly mistake.

Coming to the point, Yatra came with very low expectations and director of the film Mahi V Raghav maintained a low pace about the film which helped Yatra a lot. Though the film is getting mixed reviews, negative talk is too light when compared with the above average and good talk. The present situation will make Yatra big, a film critic asserted.

Yatra promotions also run at a slow pace and the planning of the producers worked well, a trade pundit expressed his view. As it is the first day for Yatra, we have to wait for its capability to attract a crowd on day two. Then only we can conclude about Yatra’s success perfectly.

Mammootty did well as YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Mahi V Raghav’s direction also is up to the mark, but some slow pace in the second half has restricted this film at above average.
