Rajini Not To Contest In Parliament Polls

A few months ago, Superstar Rajinikanth created in Tamil Nadu when he announced his political entry. He conducted several meetings with his fans and finally decided to step into the political arena. Following his announcement, a discussion among his fans and political enthusiasts is about whether Rajini would begin his political journey with assembly polls or parliament elections.


Offering a clarification on it, the Tamil Superstar issued a statement saying: I will not contest the parliament election this year. I request all kindly not to use my pictures for campaign purposes. He also made an appeal to fans and Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) office bearers to cast their vote for a stable government at the centre. He urged that their vote should go for a person who can provide permanent water solution to the water crisis in Tamil Nadu. With this announcement, he made it clear that he has set his eyes on assembly polls in 2021.


On the work front, Rajinikanth's last film 'Petta' which released for Pongal did a good business at Box-office. Post that, he was busy the wedding preparations of his second daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth.
