Until the film, Kshanam released, actor Adivi Sesh was not a big name in the industry. And after his last film Goodachari came out, he emerged as one of the most sought after actors in town. Not just the producers and directors, even Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu is after him.
The actor who is working on his next film Major, based on the life of NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan who lost his life in 2008 Mumbai attacks, has got Superstar Mahesh Babu as of its producer. 'Major' is a joint production of G Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt Ltd and A+S Movies. Getting Mahesh onboard would surely help the film to reach to a larger set of audiences. So, how much is our Superstar investing in this project? Going by our reports from tinsel town, Maharshi star is not directly funding this film but he only agreed to give his 'brand' name. So, his association with this film is just confined to be a nominal partner.
The source further informed that he will take home the profits as well. Which means, Mahesh is going to reap the profits without any investment. But, there's a catch here. The actor will only have a share in profits made by the Telugu version. Major, to be directed by Shashi Kiran Thikka, is a bilingual (Hindi and Telugu) film which will have its theatrical release in 2020.
