It is already a piece of known news that Nagarjuna will be collaborating with director Kalyan Krishna, for the sequel of his 2016 super hit Soggade Chinni Nayana. Interestingly, the makers of the sequel seem to have hired Naga Chaitanya as well. King Nagarjuna will produce this project on his home banner 'Annapurna Studios'.

To be titled as 'Bangarraju', the movie is likely to have both Nagarjuna & Naga Chaitanya as part of the main cast. If the reports from tinsel town are to be believed, Naga Chaitanya will be seen as Nag's grandson in the film. Previously in Manam, Chay played the character of Nagarjuna's son.

The principal shooting of Bangarraju is expected to kick start in June and currently, the filmmaker is busy in the pre-production work. Reportedly, Ramya Krishna will reprise her role 'Satyabhama' in the sequel. No projected release date for the sequel has been reported till now.
