A cinema of the 1990s can be defined in several ways and one of them is Govinda playing a lead role with humorous touch to it. One of his classic hits in the 90s' was 'Coolie No.1' and so, it doesn't come as a surprise when Bollywood is making plans to remake it now.
Going by the Bollywood reports, the director of Coolie No.1 is planning to it with new stars of the town. Director David Dhawan, who made the old version in 1995, is now setting it up with his son Varun Dhawan and newest sensation Sara Ali Khan. The old version had Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead. An official announcement about this remake is likely to be made on 24th April. Apart from the same story, the out and out comedy film will have two songs from the original version. Earlier in 2017, David Dhawan has remade his 1997 film 'Judwaa' with Varun and named it as 'Judwaa-2', which also emerged as a good paisa-vasool film.
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan is currently busy in promoting his new film 'Kalank', which is set for release on 17th April.
