Soon after 'KGF' released, Kannada Rocking Star Yash garnered Pan-India craze and he emerged as the latest superstar from South India. But, the Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy seems to be quite unhappy with campaigning of the actor in Mandya, where late Ambareesh's wife Suma Latha is fighting the poll battle as an independent candidate. It is known that Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Gowda is contesting on JD(S) ticket from Mandya LS segment.
Kumaraswamy took at swipe at Yash during his election speech in Mandya. Threatening the KGF star, Kumaraswamy said producers in Karnataka are only investing on him because of their power. Making a reference to Yash, the CM said, Some actor accused on our party members. But, my followers have kept mum because of me. Such actors will not withstand if producers like us do not invest in them. Their career will go nowhere if producers like us back off. He also asked party supporters not to believe what is seen on the silver screen and questioned, Where're these heroes when farmers committed suicide?
But on the other hand, fans of Yash are little unhappy with the sharp comments made by CM at this point of his career. They want him to free from political problems as he is getting ready to begin the shooting of KGF-2 soon.
