Bollywood is crazy about South films, and most particularly Telugu movies these days. Not just the way we make our movies have changed, but also our content has become new-age. So, they are more curious to present our stories to a larger section of audiences.
Many production houses are pumping in a large chunk of money in our stories and most recently, the remake of Arjun Reddy (Kabir Singh) proved the true box-office potential of our content. Kabir Singh, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga made a whopping 250+ Cr at in Hindi and is still running in theatres.
Now, the top producers of Tollywood, Dil Raju, and Allu Aravind are set to collaborate to take our super hit 'Jersey' to Bollywood. The film featuring Nani and Shraddha Srinath is a critically acclaimed sports drama which has gained the love of Telugu audiences. Now, it is most likely to entertain Bollywood fans too. The makers of Telugu Jersey, Sithara Entertainment, will co-produce the Hindi project along with Dil Raju and Allu Aravind. As per our sources- Gowtam Tinnanuri, director of the original version, will make it in Hindi as well.
