Rowdy' star Vijay Devarakonda starrer 'Dear Comrade' had a grand release on 26th July. The film, which opened to phenomenal business on first day, is continuing the pace. Even though it received mixed talk, Dear Comrade has managed to earn a share of Rs 10.72 Cr on day-1. The Vijay Devarakonda starrer minted Rs 10.55 Cr on the second day. If we consider the box-office report, collections of Dear Comrade indicate that it has lived up to the pre-release expectations.
Without any doubt, these box-office figures tell the true potential of Vijay Devarakonda. Before the release, Dear Comrade has created positive buzz but first-day talk was little disappointing. However, openings make it a winner at box-office and the craze for Vijay Devarakonda-Rashmika pair is likely to set the cash registers ringing over the weekend. Here's the area-wise breakup of collections for second day:
Nizam: 4.56 Crores
Ceded: 1.28 Crores
Uttarandhra: 1.26 Crores
Krishna: 55 lakhs
Guntur: 80 lakhs
East: 1.07 Crores
West: 67 lakhs
Nellore: 36 lakhs
Total (TS+AP) : 10.55 Crores
If the film maintains the same pace, Vijay will comfortably have one more 100-Cr film in his kitty. Also, Bonalu holiday (on Monday) in Telangana is an advantage to Dear Comrade in Nizam area. Coming to the film, director Bharat Kamma has scored brownie points for his exceptional taking and audio tunes by Justin Prabhakaran are quite heart-wrenching.
