Rakshasudu is doing really well at the box office and the film has collected a share of Rs 17.5 crores right in the first ten days itself and this is something that not every film can do.

The Ramesh Varma directorial is a Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Ratsasan and has Sai Sreenivas and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles. Sreenivas is receiving praises and appreciation for his performance in the film and his father Bellamkonda Suresh is happy with the success his son has managed to garner with this film. In order to share and celebrate the happiness, the proud father held a press meet and said, “My son has been part of seven films till now. He has seen hits and flops. But with Rakshasudu, he proved that he is a really good actor and this film is par from the commercial films we usually make. So as a father, I am very proud of him and wish that he makes many such good films.”

He said that he would definitely want to make one more film with his son and said he is looking for the right scripts. Suresh is the one who produced Alludu Seenu, which marks the debut of Sreenivas in Tollywood. “I always wanted to see my son as a star and for that, I did what I have to and now, he is making it happen. I am happy for him,” he added.
