Amitabh Bachchan Selected For Dadasaheb Phalke Award

All the fans of Megastar Amitabh Bachchan are on cloud nine as the actor has been selected for Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his immense contribution to world of cinema for over many decades.

Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar announced the news on Twitter, that the veteran actor has been selected for the award.

“Legend Amitabh Bachchan who entertained and inspired for 2 generations has been selected unanimously for #DadasahebPhalke award. The entire country and international community is happy. My heartiest Congratulations to him,” he wrote. (sic)

The minute the announcement has been made, wishes have been pouring in for the actor and his fans are happy about his achievement.

Amitabh made his debut in 1969 with film Saat Hindustani. He is still one of the highest paid actors in the industry and despite being in his late 70s, he is pretty much active and energetic when it comes to acting in movies. Hi fans are celebrating this good news and the actor is yet to respond about this.
