Megastar Chiranjeevi, who's biggest star down South, had left films and entered into politics. But, his political career did not go the way he wanted to. After merging Praja Rajyam Party in Congress, Chiranjeevi became union minister for Tourism. Later, he began to distance himself from politics and concentrated on movies.
Now that he is coming up with a biographical film on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, the actor recently gave an interview to Tamil newspaper 'Anand Vikatan'. In his interview, Chiru made some interesting comments on Politics and he had an important suggestion for his cinema friends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. 'Politics totally runs on money and I feel they should not enter politics,' said Chiru by adding that 'even if they (Rajini and Kamal) want to fight for people honestly, the politics here will not allow them to emerge big'. Chiranjeevi also recalled how he lost in his own constituency and while briefing it, he said 'I was the top star before foraying into politics, but opponents have shelled out many crores to defeat me, and same thing has happened with Pawan Kalyan too.'
It is known that Kamal's Makkal Needhi Maiam party has contested in recent Lok Sabha polls in Tamil Nadu, but didn't win any seat. Whereas, Rajinikanth is yet to announce his party.
