In a very short period, Telugu hero Adivi Sesh has emerged as an actor with abundant talent and his previous work makes us look forward to his movies in coming years. The young actor who started off his career as a character artist went to work in Rajamouli’s Baahubali in a key role. So, when he was called on stage at Baahubali pre-release event in Tirupati, the actor had to take Pawan Kalyan’s name for giving an opportunity in his Panjaa. At that time, Sesh taking Pawan’s name at Prabhas’ film event has become a subject of discussion among film circles.
In the latest interview with a web channel, the Goodachari star candidly opened on his ‘mistake’ (as he feels) of taking Pawan Kalyan’s name at Baahubali event. “Make sure you know exactly what you are saying at an audio launch,” is what Sesh said when he was asked what he learned working in Baahubali.
‘I never have seen so many people, there was huge crowd with full of politicians, collectors and big wigs from industry. It was a high moment for me. So, when I was called on stage, I saw Shobu garu (producer of Baahubali) who also was the producer of Panjaa. So, while thanking Shobu Garu, Prasad Garu and Neelima Garu for giving me an opportunity in Panjaa, I had to take Pawan Kalyan’s name. But it has triggered a massive reaction from the fans. While some set of people shouted at me for taking Pawan Kalyan’s name, many others cheered for it. And I did not realise about the mistake for next couple of hours and had cool dinner with the movie unit. But, around 11:30 PM, my brother called me and pointed out my mistake in the speech. Later, for the next 2 days, I was bashed by the Prabhas fans from Telugu states, Tamil Nadu and everywhere. They used to verbally attack me, and it had totally changed my life. But I am thankful to both Prabhas and Pawan Kalyan.’ – said Sesh.
Sesh further added, “When I met Prabhas on that night, I apologised him for my mistake. But he was so humble to tell me that he had no issues with it. I was totally relieved after his response.”
