Last week's theatrical release 'World Famous Lover' garnered disaster talk right from the first day of release. Vijay's massive following and craze could not save the film at the box-office. The box office figures witnessed a huge downfall after a decent day-1. WFL, which grossed a total of Rs 9 Cr on the first day of release, might vanish from theatres as Nithin's Bheeshma received good responses from all centers.

So, Trade analysts began to estimate the losses incurred by WFL. The initial estimates indicate that buyers might lose 70% of the investment. In total, World Famous Lover is expected to end up with 20 Cr loss.

To cover up losses for his producer, Vijay has returned some portion of this remuneration. According to Trade analysts, producer KS Rama Rao took a huge loss by partnering with South Sensation Vijay Deverakonda for World Famous Lover.
