Did Pawan Kalyan Learn A Lesson From Chiranjeevi?

After blockbuster Baahubali, audiences began to show a special interest in Pan India movies. Also, producers started believing that their film could fetch massive money if it is released in multiple languages. After films like KGF did solid business in Bollywood, producers began to trust that Pan India will work. So, with a view to targeting Bollywood, Ram Charan released Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa' in Hindi as well and also roped in Amitabh Bachchan for a key role. But, it ended up as a big disaster in Bollywood.

While the Telugu version was a massive hit, it didn't work in other languages. Sye Raa had sent out a clear message to other film producers who were planning for the Pan India release. Later, most of them have dropped their plans.

After all these consequences, Pawan Kalyan is venturing into Bollywood with a Pan-India film, PSPK27. The period film is being made by Krish with folklore background. But, the result of Sye Raa has made Pawan rethink about its Hindi release. So, he asked the makers not to go for with Bollywood release. However, he provided his consent for releasing it in all South Indian languages.

Looks like Pawan Kalyan do not want his image to get tinkered if Bollywood version fails at the box office. So, PSPK27 is more likely to be a South Indian film and not a Pan-India one.
