Talented director Dev Katta is making headlines for an interesting reason. She has made some shocking comments regarding the charity donations in lines of the present Corona Virus outbreak situation.

It is known that many celebrities from Tollywood have announced donations in style. While Prabhas announced 4.5 Cr, Pawan Kalyan donated 2 Cr. Mahesh babu, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Raviteja, Akkineni Nagarjuna and many others have announced big amounts from their side.

However, in social media, some anti-fans have started trolling celebrities comparing with high amounts of donations. Reacting on this, “I personally know few beautiful hearts within the industry who contributed significantly toward COVID-19 and many other causes but purposefully didn’t want to publicize. They see it as a personal/spiritual act.” Deva Katta tweeted.

Furthermore “Those who announce have a point; it motivates others and creates a +ve chain reaction. It’s utterly insensitive to pre-empt d silent contributors with stupid assumptions. It’s our responsibility to understand their perspective. Charity is not a rowdy mamool under social pressure!” Deva Katta added.

What Dev Katta said is absolutely correct. It is all about charity and some may announce big, some many announce small and of course, some may do charity in a different style.
