Since the time the government responded positively for the film shoots in Telangana, there is a buzz that Acharya is the first one to hit the floors. Megastar Chiranjeevi is first to halt the shoot of Acharya even before the announcement of lock down. Now, it looks like he is gearing up to begin the film's shoot.

If the reports are true, the film unit will resume the shoot of Acharya from 15th June. With all precautions and safety measures, the makers want to kick-start the shoot with limited crew. If the shoot goes as per plan without any disturbances, we can expect the film to hit the screens during Sankranthi next year.

Directed by Koratala Siva, Acharya is a production of Ram Charan and Matinee Entertainments banner. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady. Mani Sharma is the music director.
