Liplocks have become part and parcel of Telugu films in the recent past.  There was a time when people used to get surprised if there is a liplock in a Telugu film.  Now the same people are getting surprised if there is no liplock in the film.  Well, many actors are game for liplocks but some of them are against them.  Keerthy Suresh is one of the few actors who are against them.


Keerthy never acted in a liplock scene. She shows no interest to appear in a bikini as well. There were reports in the media recently that she has rejected a couple of films due to the bold content and lip locks in the film. When Keerthy was asked about it in a recent interview, she gave a detailed answer. She said that personally she doesn't like doing liplocks and she has changed the style of story selection after 'Mahanati'.


She said that the audience are showering love on her after 'Mahanati' and they are expecting her to do meaningful roles rather than regular heroine characters. That has increased a sense of responsibility for her in choosing the roles.
