'Palasa 1978' is one of the critically acclaimed films released this year. Director Karun Kumar received a huge appreciation for his work. Instantly, he got an opportunity to work for Allu Aravind's OTT platform Aha.  

Karun Kumar directed 'Metro Kathalu', a modern anthology series that consists of four stories. The stories are penned by popular Telugu writer Mohammed Khadeer Babu. 'Metro Kathalu' features Rajeev Kanakala, Sana, Gayatri Bhargavi, Ali Reza, Nandini Roy, and Ram Maddukuri.

The first look of Metro Kathalu is out recently and Aha is planning to stream the series from August 14.
