For months now, movies have been bearing the brunt of cinema hall closures. With the uncertainty still looming over the fate of theaters, several filmmakers are relying on OTT platforms to release their movies. Cashing on the trend of rising in OTT culture in India, several new OTTs are emerging despite the Indian OTT space is already populated by many players.

After 'Aha', now comes 'FILIM' an exclusive Telugu content based OTT app which is all set for the grand launch in a few weeks. Unlike other OTT platforms, FILIM comes up with a minimum subscription pricing which is the cheapest compared to other apps. It's an Android-based mobile OTT app that can be viewed on TV through the 'casting' option.

Though there will be a slight reluctance and discomfort among the big players of the film to adjust to the new normalcy, research indicates that, even in post-COVID19 times, OTTs will continue their dominance. Therefore, it's needless to say that the OTTs are here to stay for long.
