Allu Ramalingayya was one of the iconic actors in the history of Telugu cinema. As a comic actor, he has entertained a lot of audiences. Today marks the 99th birth anniversary of the actor. Chiranjeevi, the son-in-law of the legendary actor has shared a personal note on this occasion. Megastar Chiranjeevi shared a note along with the caption, "Fondly remembering Shri. Allu Ramalingayya garu.."

In the note, Chiranjeevi wrote, "Fondly remembering Shri.Allu Ramalingayya garu on his 99th Birth Anniversary. More than just as my father-in-law, I have always admired his many facets, as a great Actor, a passionate Doctor, a committed Freedom Fighter, a profound Philosopher, as a guiding Mentor, as a Guru, and a compassionate human being. You will always remain in our thoughts Allu garu! And your Centenary next year will certainly be a true landmark to deservingly celebrate your illustrious life."

On this special occasion, the family of Allu Ramalingaiah announced a studios in Hyderabad. Allu Studios will be set up by Allu Aravind, Allu Arjun and the other family members.
