Red To Become The First Major Theatrical Release?

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the theatres have been shut down from the past few months. But now, the government of India is planning to reopen the movie theatres from October 15th.

 

The movie lovers are super excited to watch the films on the silver screens again. The movie theatres are going to get reopen with 50% occupancy. Ram Gopal Varma said that his movie Coronavirus is going to be the first movie to get released in theatres after theatres reopen. But it seems like the first major film that will come to the cinema halls will be Ram starrer ‘Red’. The film producer had already rejected a couple of the OTT offers intending to release it in theaters only. The movie was supposed to hit the big screens on April 9th this year. But now, the film may release on the occasion of Deepavali this year. 

 

Featuring Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma as the female leads, Kishore Tirumala is helming this mass entertainer. Sravanthi Ravikishore is bankrolling this project which is a remake of Tamil hit ‘Tadam’.
