Koratala Siva was supposed to work with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, right after his debut film Mirchi. However, it did not happen due to several reasons and the director worked with Mahesh Babu for Srimanthudu. Later, Siva and Ram Charan met again to do another film but they did not find the time. Now, Siva is working with Megastar Chiranjeevi for the film Acharya. Ram Charan produces the film.

Recently, Siva narrated a new script to Ram Charan which the latter liked. Both decided to take the project to the floors by the end of next year or at the beginning of 2022. Right after Acharya, Siva will direct Allu Arjun for which the announcement has been made already. Right after the release of Allu Arjun's film, Koratala Siva will begin the work for Charan's movie.

On the other side, Acharya makers are planning to resume the shoot soon. Kajal Aggarwal plays the leading lady in the film. Mani Sharma is the music director.
