Tamil hero Karthi took to his Twitter profile to announce that he is blessed with a baby boy. The newly born baby is his second child with wife Ranjani. Karthi is thrilled and shared the same with his fans on social media. He thanked the hospital staff for taking good care of her wife and also sought blessings from everyone.

"Dear friends and family, we are blessed with a boy baby. We can’t thank enough our doctors and nurses who took us through this life-changing experience. Need all your blessings for the little one. Thank you, god!" posted Karthi on his Twitter profile.

On 3 July 2011, Karthi married Ranjani Chinnaswamy. They were engaged on 29 April. The elders of the family arranged the wedding. The couple gave birth to a girl named Umayaal in 2013.

On the work front, Karthi's next movies are Sultan and Ponniyin Selvan.
