Malayalam super hit film Lucifer is being remade in Telugu right now. Megastar Chiranjeevi plays the lead role in the movie. Mohanlal played the lead in the original. Mohan Raja is the director of the film. The film's launch took place already and the pre-production work is currently in progress.

Meanwhile, there is no clarity on the film's leading lady. Earlier, there are reports that Nayanathara is playing the leading lady of the movie. But, there are current speculations that she had walked out of the movie. Manju Warrier played Mohanlal's sister in the film but there is no clarity on who will play this role in the Telugu version.
