Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR are currently playing the lead roles in the film RRR. Rajamouli is the film's director. The film unit was supposed to release an update on NTR's birthday but since he is recovering from COVID-19, they may not do that.

However, the team is planning to release the film's teaser. As per the current media speculations, the makers are planning to launch the film's teaser on August 15th, on the auspicious Independence Day. Since the film is a patriotic film, the makers wanted to release the teaser and give a glimpse of the movie to everyone on that day. As of now, there is still no clarity on when the film will actually hit the screens. The film was originally planned for a release in October.

Most likely, the makers would still stick to the same but we have to wait for a formal confirmation on the same soon.
